Accounting for the Group's Funds; Proposed Xmas Card

Shown above is our Group's cash position as of latest. It shows that we have enough funds for the annual gifts that we give to the ProShop Staff and Marshalls (P3,000 each, or a total of P6,000).

Below is the proposed Xmas card that will accompany our cash gifts. It's basically the same as last year's, with slight changes on small items. Please advise if the design is okay with you. We plan to give the cash gifts this coming Sunday.

Results of 3rd Qtr 2018 Tournament; G.O.Y. & Funds Update

2018 3rd Quarter Tournament

After last Sunday's game (Sept 9), our Group agreed to have our 3rd quarter tournament this coming Sunday (Sept 16). But due to the expected super typhoon to hit our country during this weekend, some are suggesting that we postpone it to another Sunday. Please wait for further announcements.

Last Sunday, we also agreed that our 3rd quarter tournament shall have the following format & rules:
1. Our Group shall be divided into TEAM A and TEAM B.
2. By drawing lots, members of each team were determined (pls see tabulation below).
3. It will be a six-to-play, four-to-count format (based on net scores); latest board handicaps will be used.
4. By drawing of lots (again!), it was determined that we will be playing at the Langer Course. We shall be using white tee boxes.
5. Each player shall pay a tournament fee of P1000; members of the winning team shall get back their P500 each.
6. Of the total tournament fee collections, P5000 shall be set aside to augment our Xmas Party Fund.
7. Our Club President, Choy Concepcion, will be invited to play as a guest in this tournament, to complete the roster of teams.

Our July 22 game was discontinued after ten holes (Couples Course) due to the heavy downpour. Based on our GOY rules, everybody who came will be given two (2) points each for attendance. Our rules award points only to champions/runners-up for finished 18-hole games.

Those of us who came to "enjoy golf during that downpour" are the following 'golf addicts' shown in the photo below. The place is the new house of Martin and wife Marie; the occasion was the house warming especially prepared for our Group.

Our funds as of latest amount to about P26k as shown below. We expect this to grow, after TRAIN 3 & 4 (translated to 3rd  & 4th Quarter Tournaments):
